COVID-19 Update

Holdahl Company COVID-19 Status

Yesterday, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz issued an Executive Order requiring all residents to stay at home for two weeks, beginning Friday March 27 at 11:59 pm. and lasting through April 10th. As you know, many other states have issued similar orders.

Many of our customers are considered critical infrastructure businesses and therefore, as one of their suppliers, we are expected to support them. Knowing this, we plan to remain open with our current limited premises access plan.

We are taking every step to limit our team member’s exposure to the COVID-19 virus, including having as many of our team members work from home as possible. In order to maintain proper social distancing, we are continuing our policy of curbside pick-up only. Our lobby and will call areas are closed to customers. When you arrive at one of our warehouses, there will be a phone number posted to call to arrange for your order to be brought to you.

Will you remain open for business and be able to accept shipments?

If you are currently waiting on an order delivery from us, please contact us at your earliest opportunity to confirm that your order delivery is still expected. With your order number handy, please call 800-777-8992 and let us know if we should ship your order as scheduled. As of now our Holdahl truck, Holdahl Metro delivery trucks, UPS, FedEx, and SpeeDee delivery services are making deliveries.

If your company is not affected by a state shut down, please contact us and we’ll work with you to determine our ability to fill your orders.

Will Call Pick-ups

We are still open at all 5 locations.

In these unique times we find ourselves needing to be more flexible and proactive. With this in mind we are implementing some new temporary policies we need to make you aware of.

Beginning Monday March 23rd

All will-call orders must be placed over the phone, fax, or on-line. Order pick-ups will be curbside only. Access to all Holdahl facilities will be limited to appointment only.

Will-Call Order Pick-up:

All will-call orders must be pre-placed and pre-paid.

When you arrive onsite please call that local Holdahl warehouse contact number. We will bring your merchandise out and load your vehicle for you. Stay in your vehicle if possible.

We are sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in these unique times.

The health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers are our top priority. As Covid-19 continues to impact people and businesses across the country and around the world, we are committed to doing our best to help protect our employees, customers, and suppliers from the spread of the virus. These are certainly some unique times. None of us know how long this thing will last and the situation is fluid, right now common sense is our best weapon.

While some occupations can work remotely, we know many businesses require some interaction. We remain open and will continue to remain open until such need arises for that to change. Our online sales via HoldahlCompany.com are ready to manage your orders. We also are happy to take your phone calls (763-231-3130). Our will call and city desk are also still available.

We are doing everything we can to help reduce the risk here at Holdahl in our buildings and with our employees and for all who visit us. Internally we are following best practice guidelines from the CDC.

  • If you are not feeling well, please consider calling or making web orders and making arrangements for order delivery
  • Call to cancel/postpone deliveries if any illness is evident at the delivery location
  • When interacting with our delivery drivers, please help reduce their interaction with your employees. Our drivers visit many customers over the course of a day and we need your help to keep them healthy.
  • Visits to our city desk or will call: please maintain comfortable distance from employees and other customers, and minimize the surfaces you touch

As business owners, we want to continue to provide product and income to our employees and business partners. Please join us in making the process as safe and healthy as possible.
