Shipping Damage:
Packages should be opened upon receipt. Any damage to the package should be considered suspicious. All packages damaged in-route are the responsibility of the carrier and MUST be immediately reported to the carrier. Product damaged during shipping MAY NOT BE RETURNED. For shipping issues unrelated to carrier damage please see the Credit Request/Returns information below.

Freight/Shipping:
Holdahl warehouses are located in Minneapolis MN (primary warehouse), Fargo ND and Sioux Falls SD. All orders are shipped F.O.B. from a Holdahl warehouse. Holdahl reserves the right to select the carrier. For customers in good standing: Holdahl will prepay standard* shipping costs when individual orders of stock product valued at $600.00 or more and that meet UPS/Speedee shipping standards for delivery within the Holdahl five state area of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Orders less than $600 of stock products will be charged $25 if delivered within the Holdahl five state area. For orders outside the Holdahl five state area the Purchaser will be charged all shipping costs. Shipments that are non-standard* (i.e. orders shipped via commercial carrier, oversized, overweight, have special delivery requirements, are residential deliveries, etc.) will be charged all shipping costs – this includes orders over $600. Shipping charges are estimated, actual shipping costs will be billed at time of shipment. Orders received by 3 p.m. on a business day and shipping via UPS/Speedee will be shipped the same day (pending credit status). Orders received by 4 p.m. on a business day will be shipped the following business day (pending credit status). Freight terms on drop-ship/direct-ship orders are subject to the terms of the individual manufacturer and the responsibility of the Purchaser. Delivery dates are estimations and no guarantee is expressed or implied unless otherwise stated in writing. A “Haz Mat” fee of $15.00 will be added to all orders containing hazardous materials† in addition to any other shipping and handling charges. This Haz Mat fee will be added to all orders regardless of prepaid status or discounted shipping. All adhesive products are exempt from prepaid shipping. COD orders are not available for on-line purchases. COD orders are only available to existing Holdahl customers within the Holdahl five state area and are only allowed after review by our accounts receivable department. All COD orders will incur a $7 handling fee. There is no freight charge on backorders of stock items unless that order contains hazardous materials. Holdahl reserves the right to make partial shipments of any items ordered unless the order is marked “ship complete” by Purchaser. (On-line customers can make “ship complete” comments in the order comment area during check-out.) If Holdahl chooses to split an order that originally qualified for free freight, Holdahl will be responsible for the additional shipping. Items not shipped will be backordered at Holdahl’s discretion unless otherwise notified. Contact your customer service representative for information on delivery in your area.

*Standard shipping is based on UPS standards. Standard shipping does not include the following examples: residential delivery, oversized, commercial freight line or shipments requiring special handling charges.

†Hazardous materials may not be shipped via air and therefore are exempt from express shipment unless delivery is within a Holdahl metro delivery area.

Credit Requests/Returns:
No items will be accepted for return or credit issued without prior consent and a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Used or damaged items are NOT RETURNABLE. Please contact Holdahl with the following information: Holdahl invoice number, shipping date, list of items, and reason for return. Holdahl reserves the right to inspect items prior to issuing a RMA. A copy of the original Holdahl invoice with the RMA number clearly written on it must be included with all returns. RMA’s will not be issued after 90 days from invoice date. Credit will be issued only after items have been received by Holdahl. Returned items can only be credited to the original invoice. All items returned for Purchaser convenience must be in resale condition. A 15% ($5.00 minimum) restocking charge may apply. A minimum 50% restocking charge will be applied to any unauthorized return. In addition, pricing and discounting on the original invoice will be adjusted to reflect the impact of the return quantity, and when applicable, originally prepaid freight charges will be billed. Non-stock, custom and special order items are not refundable and will not be accepted for return. Defective items will be adjusted in accordance with manufacture’s warranty, noting warranties vary by manufacturer. Clearance items and discontinued items may not be returned. All returns must be shipped “freight paid.” Laminate and adhesive items will not be accepted for credit unless the return is within 90 days of date of sale. Credit memos not used or redeemed within six months of issue date will be voided.
